Have you ever wondered how you are able to effortlessly produce powerfully moving poems with little effort at times, while at other junctions creating a top-shelf poem comes with much frustration? This workshop shows you how to use a self-guided meditation technique to enhance the poetry writing process and produce quality work on a consistent base.
The workshop will present a PowerPoint on the connection between meditation and creativity and offer guidance on how to use a self-guided meditation technique. Participants will do a timed meditation on their own as well as write and read their own original poems.
This workshop will be held as an online video conference call through Zoom. Details for joining the video call will be provided to all participating writers after registering.
February 3; 6:00-8:00 p.m. on Zoom.
$45/person, limited to 15 participants.
