A National Poetry Month Special Event
Greenville, South Carolina’s Ninety-Six Press and the South Carolina Poetry Archives at Furman University recently published Archive: South Carolina Poetry Since 2005, the first major anthology of South Carolina poetry in over a decade. With 46 contributing writers, this 200-page volume documents the poetic life of the Palmetto State over the past 13 years. In this poetry reading, a diverse group of poets featured in the anthology will read from their work–including Fred Bassett, Michael Bassett, Susan Baukhages, Emily Davis-Fletcher, Jacquelyn Markham, Quitman Marshall, Frances Pearce, Emily Rosko, Warren Slesinger, and Olivia Stiffler. This event is free and open to the public; copies of Archive will be available for sale and signing after the reading.
