Port Royal Sound Maritime Center

As part of their Tuesday Talks series, the Port Royal Sound Foundation Maritime Center, in partnership with the nonprofit Pat Conroy Literary Center, will host an afternoon lecture by Patrick Dean, author of the recently published book Nature's Messenger: Mark Catesby and His Adventures in a New World.

Honoring Earth Day, Pat Conroy Literary Center executive director Jonathan Haupt and poet Tim Conroy will discuss the nature writing of Pat Conroy, the bestselling author of The Water Is Wide, The Great Santini, The Prince of Tides, and more.
