The annual Kick-Start Poetry Month Reading honors the start of National Poetry Month each April and is hosted in partnership between the Hilton Head Island Writers’ Network, the Hilton Head Island Office of Cultural Affairs, and the Pat Conroy Literary Center. Free and open to the public, the reading will be held at the Hilton Head Island Branch Library (11 Beach City Road) on Thursday, April 6, from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. Refreshments will be provided.

This year’s featured poets are Janet Kozachek, Len Lawson, Jacquelyn Markham, Yvette R. Murray, Arthur Turfa, and Elizabeth Robin–all published by Finishing Line Press. Books will be available for sale and signing.
