Our Literary Community

With a variety of educational programs, workshops, and special events, we offer opportunities for individuals of all ages and backgrounds to engage with the literary arts and expand their horizons.

We invite you to immerse yourself in the life and legacy of Pat Conroy at our Pat Conroy Literary Center! Open to the public from Thursday to Sunday, from noon to 4:00 p.m., we welcome you to experience our programs and exhibits firsthand.
Looking for a unique outing? We also offer private group tours by appointment, perfect for book clubs, field trips, travel clubs, or any group eager to learn more about Pat Conroy’s legacy in and beyond his beloved Lowcountry.

As you may know, we host more than 100 educational literary events throughout the year (an average of two each week) in our Conroy Center and beyond, and we engage with more than 4,000 literary pilgrims who visit our Center from around the country and around the globe.
