Mistakes are necessary in life. We learn from them (hopefully) and chances are, if we look back, we will find a lifetime full of them. Perhaps they are the least celebrated events in our lifetime, perhaps embarrassing. But perhaps a single mistake can become the life-defining moment that turned out to be an ultimate success. Writing about mistakes opens many surprising avenues – the joys of shared experiences, the honesty readers can appreciate. There is no shame in that. Only love. Join visiting instructor Ray McManus for this poetry workshop presented by the Pat Conroy Literary Center for the Osher Lifelong Learning Institute (OLLI).

This two-hour presentation is only open to Osher Lifelong Learning Institute (OLLI) members and requires advance registration through https://olli.uscb.edu. Seating is limited.
