April is National Poetry Month, a time for reading, writing, and sharing poetry. Featuring a dozen poets, this year’s virtual Kick-Start National Poetry Month Reading offers an opportunity to gather online in celebration of the written and spoken word. This special event is presented in partnership with the Hilton Head Island Writers’ Network and the Pat Conroy Literary Center, and will be live-streamed on the Conroy Center’s Facebook page.

This year’s virtual reading will feature poets Elizabeth Abrams, Michael Bassett, Tim Conroy, Barry Dickson, Miho Kinnas, Marilyn Lorenz, Susan Madison, Horace Mungin, Bill Newby, Meryl Newell, Elizabeth Robin, and Olivia Stiffler … and maybe more.
