Celebrate Beaufort, the new cookbook from Beaufort’s favorite caterer Debbi Covington, is a collection of scrumptious recipes and tales of her beloved coastal community. The handsomely illustrated volume is full of delicious menus that pay tribute to the history, heritage, and people of the Lowcountry of South Carolina–including our own Pat Conroy.

Join us for a book signing and tasting with Debbi on May 8, from 5:30-7:30 p.m. A portion of all book sales will benefit the year-round educational mission of the Pat Conroy Literary Center.

About the author:

Debbi Covington is an award-winning chef, caterer, cookbook author and food columnist. She is the author of two cookbooks, Benjamin Franklin Gold Medal Winner, Celebrate Everything! and Dining Under the Carolina Moon. Debbi also writes the food column Everyday Gourmet in Beaufort’s Lowcountry Weekly newspaper. She has been featured as a “Master of Entertaining” in Southern Living magazine and her recipes have been published in multiple cookbooks including Southern Living’s Best Kept Secrets of the South’s Best Cooks and The Best of The Best of South Carolina.
